At Sarah Tilly mentoring, as at Azur Health Science, we believe that every individual matters, that every patient should be valued as a person, and that we have a responsibility to inspire and motivate others.

When these values become reality, we write with passion, we communicate with understanding and we strive for excellence.

For the same reasons, we care as much about training and equipping the next generation of medical writers as we care about the patients for whom we write. We know that the competition out there is tough and that contact and experience in the industry is priceless when it comes to getting to interview, convincing potential employers and signing that first contract. This is why we offer our mentoring programme: an individual training scheme for people who are looking to break into the field.

I am founder of Azur Health Science and have been medical writing since 2006. I worked firstly in a number of large clinical research organisations followed by some smaller consultancies and pharmaceutical companies. I have been involved in mentoring new medical writers since an early stage of my career, am actively involved in the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA), and sit on the education committee.​
